The boys had a great time at the state pinewood derby this weekend. They enjoyed staying in the hotel and meeting new friends. However, they didn't win a thing.
But while they were gone, a big package arrived for Alex. As tempting as it was to rip it open without him, we waited.
Alex and his GREAT Aunt Juanita, who lives in Maine, have been writing letters back and forth to each other for a couple of years. This big package contained the latest letter and a really precious gift. She made him this big flannel quilt. Each letter of his name is quilted into the middle squares.
Aunt Juanita should be expecting her next letter VERY soon.
Well that Juanita is GREAT! what a precious gift is a letter but what a blessing this blanket is. And thank you "tall ones" for holding up the blanket you are a blessing too. love each of you
