I may have already lamented about the fact that my BABY will be three - THIS MONTH!
I've never gotten them to age three without another one (or two) babies coming along behind them. And I might have been (still am) having a hard time with the fact that this is the longest I've been sans bambino since . . . a long time.
A long time that went by really quickly.

I'm not sure yet that I totally like this.
It is fun to watch them grow and learn and become who God made them to be . . . blah, blah, blah . . . but my arms are empty.
And yet I am super busy.
Too busy.
And overwhelmed.
Having bigger kids is . . . freeing. Refreshing. Nice.
And they are pretty good kids - that's nice too.
But MY BABY is about to be three. That's a big deal. (Three is not an age I'm particularly fond of).
He sat down with his biggest sisters (those experimental children) this morning and they wrote down everything he wants for his birthday. (It's better if you could hear him say these things in person. Pretend to hear the super smart, well-spoken, two year old in your head. And the girls just wrote what they heard, we can't understand it for you).
Josiah's Birthday List
glasses
flashlight
2 toys
1 toy
apacoles
buckletaste
drums
roller coaster
If you've not gotten to converse with the smart baby lately you should really swing by or give him a call and ask about HIS house or HIS monster truck.
Did you know he had HIS own place and stuff?
We are still waiting to see it. He has given us decent directions to get there.
One evening he went to bed in tears because we wouldn't take him to HIS house.
We are so mean.
Don't worry, the lamenting is not past. I'll soon be telling tales on certain larger children.
And what good big sisters to know how to spell apacoles! wow i am truly impressed. With all your children! love you bunches
