Aunt Melissa (Gene's sister) and her crew moved back to Georgia (OH HAPPY!). The rumor is that for Thanksgiving/Christmas she wanted a visit from her mommy.
Well, her honey fullfilled that request. And we got to enjoy the gift as well.
Tuesday evening, somebody knocked on the door.
It was Grandma, GreatGrandma Lore and Aunt Wanda.
What a wonderful surprise!
Grandma Lore had never met me or any of the kids.
What a delight!
Aunt Wanda kept the conversation moving and loved on the littles.
What a joy!

Oh what a wonderful time.
Thanks Melissa for your wants and Thanks James for making it happen. And Thanks Grandma for driving out here. And Thanks a whole heap Grandma Lore and Aunt Wanda for keeping her company on the trip.
They surprised us on Tuesday, Thursday we got to spend most of the afternoon and evening just visiting.

Gene and his supervisors fixin brakes - so he got to visit a little and everybody is safe driving back to AK.
