My Heart Swells

About the time I met this handsome man that I married, he introduced me to his sweet, but rough as a corn-cob friend. A young man in need of MUCH prayer.
Several months ago, my prayers were answered when this, now a brother-in-love, "my grown child," accepted Christ as his Savior.
Slowly he has made Jesus Lord of his life. Slowly. (But faster then I did).
Over the last month he has searched, been broken, and peppered us with theological questions.
BUT . . . today, he made me cry. Hot, happy, tears of overflowing joy.
Today he made public what he has committed for eternity on the inside.
Today he was baptized.
I cried and clapped and shouted.

The little girl in the video is the daughter of a dear friend of mine. A child I love.
And Gene and I got to be "in the back" to "help" them as they obeyed. Witnesses to this deal up-close. I got to hold this little, wet, sister of mine and dry her off. And tell her how very proud I am. (I'm crying again).
I think my face is still a little sore from grinning so hard. And my eyes are pleasantly tired.

And the pastor, the one doing the dipping, we love him too!

Well, I tried now for three days and the video just will not load. So here are a few pictures.
(And thanks to whoever wound up with our cameras).

Praise the Lord!
